

SXSW activation to launch Beats wireless speaker, Pill. The activation played off the name Pill with a cheeky, medically-themed experience designed to create interest and awareness of the product. Consumers were welcomed into a branded 'Pill Clinic', where they received a prescription for a Pill from brand ambassadors dressed as medical staff. Consumers were invited to take their prescription to the 'pharmacy', where their prescription was filled with a free Beats Pill for the duration of SXSW. The activation was supported with ambient media and drove more traffic than any other activation at SXSW that year. The activation generated over 10 million impressions, and Pill went on to become the #1 selling sub $300 wireless speaker in the US.
